The Ever Afters

The Ever Afters is a British indie rock band from London, formed in 2009 originally by Claire Barrett and Robert Bohner.
Before meeting both worked on various projects including cover bands and solo performances, although always with the aim of making their own path in music. However they found themselves becoming increasingly frustrated with the numerous unmotivated and unenthusiastic people they encountered.

All this changed in November 2009 when Claire responded to Roberts ad, “Covers Band looking for lead singer”. While Claire was not looking for anymore covers work something made her call in the hope that the band might be interested in working on her own material.
After one ten minute phone call, Claire and Robert discovered that they had experienced similar setbacks but also shared the same passion for music and song writing.
Though limited in resources, the band began recording and producing songs within Bohner's make-shift bedroom studio in South East London.
Their characteristically poetic songs (both lyrics and music) are written mainly by band members Claire Barret and Robert Bohner. The themes of their songs typically include love, friendship and relationships.

Their first single will be released in August 2011, with performances in London and other regions in the UK.
